Our next, and last indoor tournament of the year is the provincial IFAA indoor championships on Sunday, March 27. There are some spots available for this 5-arrow/end 60-arrow round. Please call or write to secure your spot.
SNAC had to postpone the January WA18M tournament due to the COVID-19 restrictions. But, we were able to run the event on March 13, 2022 instead. Here are the results:
We were happy to have so many students join our regular competitive archers for this event. Also, it marked the debut of our Recurve Open archer, Shawn Matheson.

Congratulations to all of our competitors who shot the indoor national championships at our regional site here in Winchester, ON.
We had some outstanding rounds, such as Quintin Fawcett’s 560 for cadet compound and some really strong performances from the whole group. We were glad that Tania Edwards was able to join us.
Unfortunately, neither Sandra Rampton-Siedule (ill health) nor Serenity Last (injury) were able to join us today on the shooting line! Serenity did help us out by calling arrows for the women’s line.

Congratulations to all our members and students who participated in our first WA-registered tournament since the institution of vaccine passports.
It was wonderful to see everyone back as well as welcome new competitors from class. A good start after a long break, it was good to see everyone using the mental techniques from the advanced classes.
Our next tournament is Ontario Archery 10-ring Championship Week, running from Monday, February 21 to Sunday, February 27. If you have not signed up yet, please contact Kathy or Larry in order to pre-register.

Long overdue, but posted nonetheless, WWA has updated their website with the final results for MICA (multi-indoor site Championship of the Americas) for 2020 and 2021.
Due to COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions, SNAC did not participate in 2021’s version, but for those of you who competed in the 2020 competition, you can check out these links for your standings.
2020 was well-attended and there are 100s of competitors. Congratulations to all SNAC archers who participated.

Congratulations to all our competitors. We had some great representation from western Quebec, Ontario and northern New York State.
In particular, we enjoyed the successes of our archers including Quintin Fawcett, Mike Greenough and Pam LeClair who all shot PBs during the event.
