Congratulations to SNAC archer Durvishan Thananchayan, who won the gold medal at the recent Canada Winter Games in Charlottetown, PEI. Durvishan and team mate Amelia Gagne of Peterborough won the Recurve Mixed Team event for Team Ontario.
What a great performance, Durvishan! Actually, Durvishan shot better as the event progressed and his archery future is brighter with the experience.
The Ontario Compound Mixed Team brought home the silver medal. Dustin Waston and Abby Bunn shot really well all week long. Congratulations to them as a team and individually for their silver medals, too.
In total, Ontario won 4 medals in archery at these Games – well done!
Congratulations to all our archers, friends and guests who shot this week during our annual Ontario Provincial 10-Ring Championships.
