Coaches and Instructors

Kathleen Millar – level 4 NCCP-certified national coach

She has coached 3 world champions, 3 Pan Am Championship medallists, 1 Para Pam Am Champion medallist, 3 Canada Games teams from Ontario and multiple national champions in recurve, compound, bare bow and Paralympic archery divisions.

Larry Smith – level 2 NAA-certified national coach

Larry has represented the United States national archery team 19 times, is a 2-time world distance record-holder, world bronze medallist in world field and gold team medallist at the 1983 world target championship.  He has mentored archers and bowhunters on both sides of the border.

Amanda Smith-Millar – level 1 NCCP-certified national coach

Amanda was instrumental in beginning the archery team programme at North Dundas High School in Maple Ridge, ON.  This programme produced 4 team champions and multiple individual champions at the Ontario High School Archery Tournament in the early 2000s.

Trevor Smith-Millar – Range Safety Officer

Trevor taught the summer camp archery programme at the RA Centre in Ottawa, ON, as well as guided the local Society for Creative Anachronism group in the South Mountain region.
