2022 National Regional Indoor Medallists at SNAC

Congratulations to the following archers who shot Archery Canada’s 2022 indoor regional championships at SNAC:

Tania Edwards – Women Senior Recurve – Bronze Medal

Larry E. Smith – Men Master Compound Fixed Pins – Silver Medal

There were several very good performances at our club, regardless of whether a medal was earned or not.  Great job, everyone!

We look forward to seeing archers compete with us again in 2023.

2022 SNAC Mail match Results – Final

Congratulations to our small band of archers who enjoyed national and provincial mailmatches after such a long break from indoor competition.

All results have been posted to the national and Ontario co-ordinators from our site, and we expect final results to be announced soon.  After the final results have been posted and we receive any medals/certificates earned by our club members, then we will arrange for a small celebration and presentation.

Here are the results from our club.  We hope that the worst of COVID-19 is behind us and that we will be welcoming more people to participate in 2023.

2022 Regional Indoor National Championship Results at SNAC

Congratulations to all of our competitors who shot the indoor national championships at our regional site here in Winchester, ON.

We had some outstanding rounds, such as Quintin Fawcett’s 560 for cadet compound and some really strong performances from the whole group.  We were glad that Tania Edwards was able to join us.

Unfortunately, neither Sandra Rampton-Siedule (ill health) nor Serenity Last (injury) were able to join us today on the shooting line!  Serenity did help us out by calling arrows for the women’s line.

Here are the results for our site:

For full results, use Archery Canada’s website.  All sites are supposed to report in no later than tomorrow morning, so we are hopeful to see the first preliminary results on Monday, March 07th.

If you would like to participate in our next competition, join us on Sunday, March 13th for our re-scheduled WA18M, originally slated for January.  There are still a few spots available.  Contact Kathleen Millar or Larry Smith to sign up at:  info@southnationarchery.com

2020 February WA18M Tournament Results

Thanks to all those archers who participated in our annual February get-ready-for-the-provincial-champs tournament.

We had some good shoot and CanBow badges were earned by Serenity Last and Bryanna Larocque, both recurve archers with a passion for shooting.  Well done both of you!  🙂

Here are the full results from our tournament.

Next tournament is Archery ON 10-ring championship week from February 17-23.  There will be no classes that week.

Mohamed El-Halawani shoots PB at February WA18m

Congratulations to all our participants as we welcomed 3 new archers to our tournaments.  Welcome back to Crystal Foster who has been unable to shoot tournaments for over a year.

Special shout-out to Mohamed El-Halawani (SR M Rec) who shot a PB 552 on the round today.

Crystal Foster shoots outstanding NFAA round – 2nd place

Congratulations to SNAC archer, Crystal Foster, of Kemptville, ON who shot two outstanding rounds of 290 each day at her first international archery tournament in Louisville, KY on March 19-20, 2016.

Finishing second behind a very good recurve archer from the USA, Crystal showed tremendous consistency on both rounds.

The NFAA indoor national championships is an annual event, attracting approximately 2,000 archers this year in all equipment divisions.

Congratulations to all SNAC archers and archers who train with us here at South Nation Archery Club!

2016 February 18M SNAC results

Despite frigid temperatures that made it impossible for some participants to get their vehicles started first thing in the morning, SNAC had a very successful turn-out.

Congratulations to all the archers who braved the cold to join us for our annual pre-OAA 10-ring championship event.

Use the link to see the results sheet.  Consult the events tab for dates and start times for the OAA 10-ring championships.  Our next monthly 18M event will be held on Sunday, March 13th.
