SUMMARY:FULL 2023 BY4-6 Session #4 Beginner Youth night classes
DESCRIPTION:This Session is booked fully.  Parents have a choice of privat
 e lessons\, or waiting until the 2024 indoor instructional system.\n\nBegi
 nner Youth classes run for 6 weeks\, one hour per week\, covering The Ten 
 Basic Steps to Good Shooting for archers ages 6 to 10.  South Nation Arch
 ery supplies all the equipment.  Students should bring indoor shoes and w
 ear snug-fitting clothing on the upper body.\n\nIt is highly recommended t
 hat students take this course 2-3 times before considering the youth advan
 ced courses.  Parents and students should discuss this progression with K
 athleen Millar in order to ensure that it is appropriate.\n\nClass #1:  
     Eye-dominance testing\, equipment selection\, warm-ups\, skill demo
 nstration\, shooting right away at close distances\, introduction to strin
 g alignment.\n\nClass #2:      Warm-ups\, review\, finger placement o
 n the string\, at full draw\, and anchor position\, finishing with a fun r
 ound.\n\nClass #3:      Warm-ups\, review\, release action of the fin
 gers and direction of release\, finishing with a run round.\n\nClass #4: 
      Warm-ups\, review\, position of string elbow and direction\, four
  quadrants of strength\, finishing with a run round.\n\nClass #5:    
   Warm-ups\, review\, string alignment\, proper aiming - how and when\, f
 inishing with a run round.\n\nClass #6:      Warm-ups\, review\, foll
 ow-through – both sides\, finishing with a run round.
