DESCRIPTION:THIS SESSION IS FULL as of 2023-01-24.  If you wish to sign up

 n the future\, you might wish to consider taking private lessons instead.
   Information about either classes can be found from the drop-down menu o
 n our homepage.  Thank you.\n\nBeginner Adult classes run for 6 weeks\, o
 ne hour per week\, covering The Ten Basic Steps to Good Shooting for arche
 rs and families ages 15 years and up.  South Nation Archery supplies all 
 the equipment.  Students should bring indoor shoes and wear snug-fitting 
 clothing on the upper body.\n\nIt is highly recommended that students take
  this course 2-3 times before considering advanced courses.  Students sho
 uld discuss this progression with Kathy Millar in order to ensure that it 
 is appropriate.\n\nClass #1:      Eye-dominance testing\, equipment s
 election\, warm-ups\, skill demonstration\, shooting right away at close d
 istances\, introduction to string alignment.\n\nClass #2:      Warm-u
 ps\, review\, finger placement on the string\, at full draw\, and anchor p
 osition\, finishing with a fun round.\n\nClass #3:      Warm-ups\, re
 view\, release action of the fingers and direction of release\, finishing 
 with a run round.\n\nClass #4:      Warm-ups\, review\, position of s
 tring elbow and direction\, four quadrants of strength\, finishing with a 
 run round.\n\nClass #5:      Warm-ups\, review\, string alignment\, p
 roper aiming - how and when\, finishing with a run round.\n\nClass #6:  
     Warm-ups\, review\, follow-through – both sides\, finishing with 
 a run round.\n\nThere will be class on Good Friday.
