Jan. 22nd, 2012 |
|
Congratulations to SNAC member, Christopher Perkins, who was able to shoot his OAA IFAA championship regionals on Sunday, January 22 in Caledon. For the first time, Christopher shot a perfect 300/60x on the round.
He was in the Toronto area after shooting at The Bow Shop's annual breast cancer fund-raiser tournament in Waterloo.
With his IFAA championship round in the bank, Christopher's next prep tournament for the indoor world championships and the Vegas Festival will be the Lancaster Archery shoot this weekend in Pennsylvania.
Continued good shooting, Christopher, and good luck! :) |

| Millar at New Brunswick Clinic |
Jan. 6th, 2012 |
|
Kathy Millar, SNAC coach, was invited to lead a provincial team training camp for coaches and archers in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. The event was sponsored by AANB. The clinic's theme was preparation for the 2012 indoor national championships. The group was very open and enthusiastic. There was good discussion of points to ponder.
Kathy covered planning, commitment, physical alignment, power and psychological preparation for both recurve and compound archers and their coaches.
The training camp site was sponsored by the Bathurst Archery Club.
If your club or province is interested in bringing Kathy to organise and lead your next training camp, please contact her directly at info@southnationarchery.com.
