Event Type

SNAC is hosting the Multi-Sites Championship of the Americas (MICA), an internationally-sanctioned indoor tournament for both Archery Canada and OAA members. Non-members will not be able to medal in this tournament, but are welcome to shoot for experience only if there is room on the line. Pre-registration is compulsory; first-come, first-served basis.

Indoor championships should be considered as the third progression (after indoor in-house tournaments) in an athlete’s long-term development. Archers should have past or present experience shooting house leagues and indoor tournaments before taking on a one-time championship performance.

This tournament includes a team round, wherein three archers of the same division (the only available divisions to compete in are Junior and higher) shoot a collective total of 24 arrows; 8 arrows per archer. The round is shot in four ends, each of the three archers shooting two arrows per end, with a time limit of two minutes for all archers to complete their shooting. Please see Kathy or Larry in advance if you are interested in this portion of the MICA event.

Morning line doors open at 8:30; scoring starts at 10:00 AM. The team round will be shot between the morning and afternoon lines, pushing the afternoon line to 3pm; practice will begin at 1:30pm.

Due to spam concerns, SNAC is no longer accepting pre-registration online; all pre-registrations must be made via phone or email. We apologize for any inconvenience.
